By accessing and using the JavocSoft Image Background Remover tool ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

The Service is a free-to-use web-based tool that allows users to remove backgrounds from images. All image processing is performed client-side, meaning your images are not uploaded to our servers.

3. Permitted Use

You are permitted to use the Service for personal and legitimate commercial purposes, provided that such use complies with all applicable laws and these Terms of Use.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
• Using the Service to process images that are illegal, offensive, or infringe upon the rights of others.
• Automated or excessive use of the Service that could disrupt its operation for other users (e.g., through bots or scripts), even though processing is client-side, excessive requests for assets could apply.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. JavocSoft does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that defects will be corrected. You acknowledge that your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JavocSoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users or third-party libraries), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of JavocSoft and its licensors. The @imgly/background-removal library is subject to its own licensing terms.

8. Changes to Terms

JavocSoft reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
